The Department of Political Science and Economics is a unique department established under the College of Law. The Department of Political Science and Economics aims to provide students with a comprehensive study of modern society through the acquisition of knowledge of economics and law, focusing on politics. It cultivates unique perspectives and fosters people who can read and understand politics and economics.

The department provides four courses with the keywords of Global, National, Local, and Theory. The four courses are International (International Political Economy Course), Japanese (Japanese Politics Course), Local (Local Administration and Finance Course), and Theory (Political Economy and Theory Course).

Japanese Politics Course

This course aims to develop the ability to analyze the various issues of local communities and play a leading role in contributing to their development.
